Nobody wants another app

Constraints that improve the product

A text thread cannot show dashboards, carousels, or settings pages. At first this felt like a handicap. It turned out to be an editor. Everything Macy does has to survive being expressed as a short message a human would actually send. If a feature cannot be explained in a text, it is usually a feature you did not need.

The moat nobody talks about

Apps compete for attention. Threads accumulate trust. Your Macy thread gets more valuable every week, because it is a running record of what she caught for you.
